Shutdown Surface Pro 4

Occasionally your Surface Pro may freeze and require a manual shutdown.  There are a few ways to shutdown and you should follow these methods to shutdown your tablet. 

Method #1

1. Locate the power button and hold down the power button for about 30 seconds (must be the full 30 seconds).
2. Release the button and hold down the power button again until the Surface PC logo pops up on the screen.

Method #2

If you are facing some problem with your Surface Pro, simply shutting down using the method above may not suffice.  You must perform something called the Surface Pro Two Button Shutdown. 

To perform this procedure, press and hold down the Volume-up button and the Power button on the Surface Pro PC at the same time for 15 seconds and release both of them.  The screen may flash the Surface logo, but remember to continue holding down the buttons for 15 seconds.
