If you regularly use multiple printers, you can pick one as your default printer. Windows and other programs then automatically use that device whenever you print.
To select a default printer
- Open Devices by clicking the Start button and then Settings.
- Go to Devices and select a printer.
- Select Make default.
In Windows 10, your default can be the printer you last used. To turn this mode, open Start and select Settings. Go to Devices and switch Use your last used printer by default to On.
