Encrypt Emails

If you need to send out an e-mail encrypted to a user, it is easy to do with Proofpoint Essentials.  

Encrypt E-mail

1. Compose your e-mail in your e-mail client (Outlook, mobile device, etc).
2. In the subject, add the word [PRIVATE] with brackets.  It is not case sensitive.  

Your e-mail will be redirected to the Proofpoint essentials e-mail service and the recipient will be required to verify that the e-mail address belongs to the user and click on a link to read the e-mail via the web.
