Hello Everyone,

We will be conducting a test of our emergency text messaging (SMS) system on Wednesday, November 1st to your cell phone number provided to our Human Resources department.

There will be a message that should come in between 13:00 (1PM) and 13:15 (1:15PM) Eastern although there may be network delays with your carrier that may prevent the SMS being delivered in a timely manner.

You should receive a message like the one below:

• THIS IS A TEST OF THE RMH-NY EMERGENCY TEXT SYSTEM. No response is required. Thank you.

If you do not receive this text message, please let us know. We hope to never use this system but we need an effective way to communicate to our staff in the event of an actual emergency. Also, if you have any questions in regards to this text messaging system, please let us know.
