We would like to give you a heads up in regards to your printing–specifically printing in the admin and development office.
Currently, color printing is the default behavior when printing to the two large Konica Minolta printers. If there is color detected in your document, the software will automatically print in color. If color is not detected in your document, it will print in gray scale. After end of business day on Thursday, May 25th, we will be changing the default behavior to print in gray scale. This is to save cost–currently costs us seven times more to print in color than in gray scale–as well as unnecessary color printing.
If you would like to print a specific document in color, please follow the instructions below.
#1. In the print dialog box, select the printer you would like to print to (either Admin - Konica Minolta or Development - Konica Minolta) and press Preferences in the Print dialog box like in the highlighted screenshot below.
#2. In the Printing Preferences dialog box, select the Quality tab and select Auto Color under the Select Color section.
#3. Press OK and Print. Your print job should print in color!
